My research interests in Applied Machine Learning, i.e. developing and employing machine learning techniques to solve real-life
problems. I have been actively involved in undergraduate research groups as well as internship. Specifically, I applied computer vision and robotics
techniques to build a pipeline to collect, recognize and transmit the recyclable trash; I utilized computer vision knowledge to increase accuracy
of sensor-based human activity recognition; I employed neural networks to help improve key metrics of notification filtering at Facebook. My ultimate
goal is to help build an ubiquitous machine learning society where everyone could enjoy the convenience brought by machine learning.
